Philippians 4: 13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Sehion Mar Thoma Church was formed on July 11th, 2004, and was inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Dr. Euyakim Mar Coorilos Episcopa, the then Diocesan Bishop, on July 25th, 2004, to meet the spiritual and communal needs of the growing number of Mar Thomites living in the northeastern parts of the Dallas Metroplex.

Sehion Mar Thoma Church is a member of the Diocese of North America and Europe of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar. From 2004 to 2008, we conducted worship services at 1015 East Beltline Road, Richardson, Texas, in a facility leased from the Seventh Day Adventist Spanish Church. To serve the growing needs of our members and future considerations for our ministry, we purchased 4.17 acres of land at the intersection of 14th Street and Shiloh Road in Plano, Texas, on November 18th, 2005. The then Diocesan Bishop, Rt, laid the foundation stone. Rev. Dr. Euyalim Mar Coorilos Episcopa on January 1st, 2008, and construction on a new facility began immediately.

Sehion Mar Thoma Church was inaugurated on January 17th, 2009, by the then Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius Episcopa.

We celebrate Holy Communion Service in Malayalam every 1st and 3rd Sunday and English Holy Communion Service every 2nd and 4th Sunday. Rev. Joby John is our current full-time resident vicar.
